Your add-ons: subscribe, then switch on per server 3 new 2 improved
  • Add-ons are a list you subscribe to. Subscribe to one in the directory and it's on your list under Your add-ons; unsubscribe there to take it off. Base and your own are on it already.
  • A server's Add-ons page shows what's on your list but not on that server yet, with a switch. Switch one on and it's added there, at its newest version. Each server keeps its own version until you update it there.
  • Unsubscribing never takes an add-on out of a server: switch it off or remove it on that server's Add-ons page.
  • When an add-on in a server you manage has a new version, a bar across the top says so, with Update, What changed and Later. Later hides it until the next version.
  • A page about you, like My birthday, opens at the newest version any of your servers runs.
Welcome card fixes 2 new 2 improved 3 fixed
  • My birthday: pick the month, then the day from that month's days. The year you were born is still its own box under it, and still optional.
  • Dropdowns on add-on pages show their arrow again.
  • A Create button next to channel and role pickers: Logs (every log), Get roles, Birthdays, Welcome's goodbyes, System messages and the rest. It makes the channel (in Bot channels) or role and picks it.
  • For add-on authors: a picker's Create as now gives it a Create button on its page too, not only in the setup.
  • In the builder, a page is about "the server" or "the user" (it said "whoever is looking"). A page about the user is each person's own, under Your pages.
  • An animated welcome background played too fast when the new member's avatar was animated too. Each now plays at its own speed, in Discord and in the preview.
  • The Welcome page's preview shows a newly uploaded background straight away, without reloading the page.

7 October 2026

The welcome card in the preview, and uploaded pictures fixed 1 improved 1 fixed
  • The Welcome page's preview shows the welcome card itself, drawn exactly as the bot draws it: your uploaded background (or the server's banner), with your own avatar on it. Messages show the bot's real name and picture too.
  • A picture uploaded on a page, like the welcome card's background, was kept where the bot couldn't find it, and was lost when the dashboard was rebuilt. It's kept beside the bot's data now. If you uploaded one before this update, upload it again.
A new look, light and dark, a quick setup and message previews 7 new 2 improved
  • The whole site has a new look: rounder, calmer, with a little colour. The builder's rows each have a small coloured tab for what kind of block they are.
  • Light or dark: pick Light, Dark or System (follows your device) in the menu under your name, top right. It's kept for your account, on every device.
  • A new home page: what the bot does is one add-on, Base, and two of its real rules are right there to read.
  • Quick setup: the first time anyone opens a server's dashboard, it starts with the channels and roles its add-ons need. Pick ones you have (one with the right name is suggested), let the bot make them, or skip some for now. New channels go in a Bot channels category.
  • Until setup is finished, a bar at the top of the server's pages says how far along it is, with what's left and a Finish setup button. Hide it for the server if you'd rather; the overview can bring it back.
  • Message previews: Welcome, Verification, Get roles, Logs, Birthdays and Levels show what they'll post, as it looks in Discord, changing as you type. You're the member in it.
  • For add-on authors: a picker can be asked in the server's setup (with a name to create it as), and a Message preview block shows one of your add-on's messages on its page.
  • The Add-ons directory shows Base first, with what it's made of and a Copy and change it button. A server's overview groups its pages by section.
  • On a phone, the top bar keeps your name and the menu on one line, and a server's pages fold behind a Pages button that opens in two columns.

6 October 2026

Birthday years, age roles, and a round of polish 3 new 3 improved 5 fixed
  • Birthdays can have a year. Add it with /birthday (run it again with the same day and month to add a year to one already set) or on your My birthday page. It's optional, and it's whatever you say: nobody checks it.
  • With a year, the birthday shout-out can say how old someone is turning: a second wording on the Birthdays page, used when the age is known.
  • Age roles, on the Birthdays page: a role for members old enough (18 unless you change it), and if you want, a role for members who haven't given a year, for example to keep age-restricted channels closed until they do. Checked every day at 9:00, and straight away on /birthday.
  • The Activity log records changes made on add-on pages again: each setting changed, entry added or button pressed, under the page's name, and what it was changed to. Typing in one box is one line, not one per pause.
  • Tidier add-on pages: long text boxes grow to fit what's in them, titles are one line, buttons are as wide as their words, and picking a picture has a proper button.
  • Base's default goodbye messages start with 🚪, 👢 or 🔨 for leaving, a kick or a ban (servers that changed theirs keep their own).
  • Commands no longer sometimes answer "Something went wrong running that command" alongside (or instead of) their real answer.
  • After taking an add-on's update, its Add-ons card no longer lists the old version's problems under the wrong names.
  • The Add-ons search box and the Members search box look like the rest of the site, and the site has an icon in the browser tab.
  • Your pages on the Servers page lists My birthday once, not once for every server you're in -- it's the same birthday everywhere. Each of your pages is a tile now, like the servers below it.
  • In the builder's Dashboard panel, drop a dragged block anywhere on another block: on its top half to put it above, on its bottom half to put it below. Before, only the thin gaps between blocks took a drop.

Everything the bot does is one add-on: Base 3 new 6 improved
  • Every feature -- welcome, verification, get roles, role saver, the logs, warnings, birthdays, levels, the leaderboard, member counts, system messages, repeating events, emojis and activity charts -- is now Base, an add-on built from the same blocks as anyone else's. Its pages are in each server's menu, in the same sections as before.
  • How it's made opens any published add-on in the builder to read, Base included, with a Copy into my add-ons button to make your own from it. It's on each add-on's card in the directory and on a server's Add-ons page.
  • Each server keeps what it had set up: channels, switches, wording, colours, role categories, levels, warnings, birthdays, scheduled messages and events all moved across on the first start of this version. The verification and get-roles messages are posted again once, by themselves.
  • Every command is Base's now. /birthday set is /birthday, /birthday edit is /birthday-edit, /birthday remind is /birthday-remind, and /preview_welcome is /preview-welcome; /setup and /config are gone, because every setting is on Base's pages.
  • System messages can still ping @everyone and roles -- once a server switches pings on for Base on its Add-ons page. Any add-on can ask to, and none can until a server says yes.
  • Get roles: the public message has a menu of categories; the private menu updates its "you have" list after each click.
  • Logs show who did it along the top of each message, and voice logs say how long someone stayed, to the minute.
  • Your birthday is set on your own My birthday page (under Your pages on the Servers page), or with /birthday.
  • Code add-ons and recipe add-ons are retired: everything is built in the builder now.

4 October 2026

The new add-on builder 4 new 1 improved
  • A new builder, under Builder in the top bar: rules on one side, the page people fill in on the other, and the settings that join them in between. Every setting checks its type as you build, and a preview shows the page exactly as a server will see it.
  • Publish makes a numbered version. Servers keep the version they installed until they choose to update, and the update tells them first what it changes and which old buttons or menus stop working.
  • Install a built add-on straight from the Add-ons directory into a server you manage. Its pages appear in that server's menu, in the section the author chose, and anything personal (like a birthday) is on each person's own Your pages list.
  • A server's Add-ons page shows each built add-on's version, offers updates, switches it off or removes it, and lists anything it tried and couldn't do, and why.
  • Everyone can build one add-on in the new builder.

18 September 2026

Add-ons are built from blocks now 2 new 2 improved
  • The add-on builder stacks blocks: "only when…" blocks hold other blocks, so rules branch, and "Remember a value" / "Add to a remembered value" let an add-on count things about a member or the whole server and read them back in checks.
  • More to build with: reactions, joining or leaving voice, and getting a role can all set a rule off; new blocks react to a message, time someone out and stop a rule early.
  • Add-on cards show the blocks in order, indented, so you can see exactly what one does before you take it.
  • Add-ons written before any of this still run exactly as they did.
The bot's own features are add-ons now 2 new 1 improved
  • Code add-ons: a folder under addons/ with a manifest, a cog and its own dashboard page. Each server switches the ones it wants on under Add-ons -> Features; one that is off does nothing there and its page leaves the menu.
  • Every add-on has a "How it's made" page showing all of its files. The bot's own features are written with exactly the API anyone else would use, so reading one is how you learn to write your own -- see ADDONS.md.
  • Role saver is the first feature converted to an add-on. It behaves exactly as before unless a server switches it off.
Add-ons, and a directory to share them 4 new
  • Add-ons: write a little feature -- when someone joins, when someone types !something -- and the bot carries it out. Post a message, reply, DM them, give or take a role, delete the message.
  • An Add-ons page of your own, next to Servers and What's new: browse everything people have published, subscribe to the ones you like, and write your own. Publishing puts yours in the directory for everyone using this bot.
  • Each server's Add-ons page is then just a list of switches: which of the add-ons on your shelf run there, and which of that server's channels and roles each one uses. The same add-on works in every server, pointed at different things.
  • Add-ons are recipes, not code -- there is nothing in one that can read files, reach the internet, see the bot's token or ping @everyone, and a server's add-ons share a cap of 30 actions a minute. That is what makes installing a stranger's add-on safe.
Event reminders 1 new
  • Events can remind people before they start -- 10 minutes to a day before. The bot posts in a channel you pick and mentions everyone who clicked "Interested" on the Discord event, with a countdown and a link to it.
Quieter when you add the bot yourself 1 improved
  • Adding the bot with the "Add bot" button on the dashboard no longer posts the setup guide in the server -- you're already on the page it points at. Adding it from a link in Discord still posts it.
Sidebar dots & the member page 2 improved
  • The on/off dot in the sidebar comes first, before each feature's icon.
  • On the member page, the birthday sits with the rest of the cards instead of alone at the bottom.
Chat levels, member pages & repeating events 3 new 2 improved
  • Levels can come from time spent chatting as well as time in voice -- "What earns levels" in the Levels tab picks voice, chat, or both. Chatting earns at most a minute per minute, so an hour of conversation is worth an hour in voice.
  • Member lookup: a page per member with when they joined, who invited them, their level and where the time came from, warnings, roles, and their birthday.
  • Events: repeating Discord events whose name counts up on its own -- "Game Night #{n}" becomes #1, #2, #3, with {date}, {weekday} and more. Discord can't do that by itself.
  • The leaderboard splits everyone's time between voice channels and chat, and ranks on whatever your server counts.
  • The on/off dot in the sidebar sits before each feature's name instead of after it.

17 September 2026

The home page works when you're logged in 1 improved
  • "Bot Dashboard" in the top corner now opens the home page instead of skipping past it, and when you're logged in that page shows your servers where the login button used to be.
Fewer, clearer slash commands 1 new 3 improved
  • The /config commands that set a channel are gone -- channels are picked on the dashboard, which also shows what each one does. /config keeps view, refresh_stats and the two log toggles.
  • Member counts has a "Create one for me" button that makes the voice channel and sets it up so nobody can join but the bot can rename it (what /config stats_channel used to do).
  • Admin commands are now hidden from members who can't use them, and every command is marked as server-only so it can't be run in a DM.
  • /help explains which permission each group of commands needs, and /level takes a member to look up.
Warnings, scheduled messages & activity charts 5 new 3 improved
  • Warnings: moderators use /warn, /warnings and /clearwarnings, and the new Warnings page sets what happens at each number of warnings (timeout, kick or ban), how long a warning counts for, and whether the member gets a DM.
  • System messages can be scheduled for later and repeat every day, week or month, in your server's timezone. The page lists what's waiting so you can cancel it.
  • Server activity: charts of when voice and chat are busiest by day and hour, the busiest channels, messages per day, and joins vs leaves over 7, 30 or 90 days.
  • "Fix permissions" on the Verification page can now be undone -- one button puts every channel permission it changed back as it was.
  • With verification on, new members get the welcome message when they agree to the rules, instead of while they still can't see the server.
  • The warning message and the DM the warned member gets can be reworded in Customize messages, with {reason}, {warnings}, {moderator} and {punishment} to fill in.
  • Tick boxes and radio buttons across the dashboard match the rest of the design instead of the browser's small white ones.
  • On the Warnings page, setting "stop counting after" to 0 days means warnings always count -- no separate Never box.
What's included & a tidier What's new 1 new 1 improved
  • The login page has a "What's included" section: scrolling bubbles of everything the bot does, and a short explanation of each feature.
  • What's new is more compact: updates are grouped by day and fold open, with the newest one open and a count of what's new, improved and fixed.
Get-roles menus, @ mentions & a smoother sidebar 3 new 2 improved 1 fixed
  • Get roles is now one message with a button per category. Clicking one opens a menu only you can see: roles you have are green, ones you don't are red, and clicking one adds or removes it.
  • Change the get-roles message on the Get roles page: its title, text, stripe color and button color, with a live preview.
  • System messages: type @ to mention a member or role (or @everyone / @here) and # for a channel, with suggestions as you type. The preview shows them like Discord does.
  • The message editors in Customize messages match the rest of the dashboard: a formatting toolbar, the emoji picker, @ and # suggestions, and a preview drawn like Discord.
  • The sidebar shows each feature's status dot on every page, and the highlight slides smoothly when you switch, including to Logs, Server settings and Customize messages.
  • In the emoji picker, clicking a category above the one you're looking at now scrolls back up to it.
A new sidebar & instant page switching 5 improved
  • Every server page has a sidebar listing all its features in four groups -- Members, Server & logs, Messages and Community -- with a dot showing what's on. On phones it folds into a menu button.
  • Switching pages is instant in Chrome and Edge: the pages in the sidebar load in the background, and refresh after you save something. Every browser is faster too, since the dashboard reuses what Discord just told it.
  • Server settings (timezone and update notices) and the Activity log each have their own place under Server & logs.
  • In Customize messages, the message groups stay on screen with the one you picked highlighted, and the back button steps back through them.
  • Message wording and colors are only changed in Customize messages. The Welcome, Logs, Birthdays and Levels sections no longer each link there.
Verification, birthday role & server timezone 6 new 1 improved
  • Verification: post your rules with an "I agree" button that gives new members a role you choose. Write the rules on the new Verification page, with formatting, emojis and a live preview.
  • The Verification page checks your setup: whether the bot can give the role, and whether any channels are still visible before members verify.
  • "Create a Member role for me" makes the role, and "Fix permissions for me" hides every channel that's still visible from people who haven't verified. You confirm first, and it can give the role to everyone already in the server so nobody loses access.
  • The rules channel stays visible to everyone, even when other channels are hidden, and is read-only: nobody can post, react or start threads there, before or after verifying.
  • Birthday role: members get a role you choose for 24 hours on their birthday. Pick an existing role or let the dashboard create a "🎂 Birthday" role.
  • Set your server's timezone in Server settings, from a short list of timezones. Birthday shout-outs and roles start at 9:00 in that timezone instead of 9:00 UTC.
  • If the bot was offline at 9:00, it still does that day's birthdays once it's back.
Discord-style emoji picker & muted time 2 new 2 improved
  • The emoji picker looks like Discord's: categories down the left, and a preview of the emoji you're pointing at along the bottom.
  • Frequently used emojis come first, then this server's emojis, the bot's own, and then Discord's standard emojis.
  • In the Levels tab, choose whether voice time always counts, stops when deafened (the default, as before), or stops when muted.
  • /level and the leaderboard say which of those your server uses.
Levels leaderboard 3 new 1 improved
  • A Leaderboard page in the Levels tab lists everyone's rank, level, level role, voice time, and progress to the next level.
  • Click someone to see how much time they spent in each voice channel.
  • Search the leaderboard by name, username, or Discord ID.
  • Voice time is now also counted per channel. Time from before this update shows as "Earlier".
Emoji picker everywhere 3 new 2 improved
  • A 😀 button next to text boxes (message wording, system messages, get-roles categories, level role names) opens an emoji picker.
  • The picker has all of Discord's standard emojis plus this server's custom emojis, with search and category tabs.
  • Emojis uploaded to the bot itself in the Discord Developer Portal show up too, in every server, once it has some.
  • Level role names only offer standard emojis, since Discord can't show custom emojis in role names.
  • Get-roles category names can use custom emojis now, not just descriptions.
Rename level roles 2 new 2 improved
  • In the Levels tab, choose what the level roles are called, like "⭐ Rank {level}" instead of "Level N".
  • Give specific levels a name of their own, like level 10 = "Regular", with a preview of each level's role name.
  • Renaming changes the existing roles, so members keep their roles and any colors or permissions you set on them.
  • Removed a second, duplicate set of shortcut buttons from the server page.

16 September 2026

Saving fixes on the dashboard 3 fixed
  • Logging in with Discord could fail with an "invalid redirect" error when the dashboard's address included a port. The login link now encodes it properly.
  • Picking a stripe color saves on the first try. It used to jump back to the old color, so you had to pick it twice.
  • Log on/off switches no longer flip back on screen after saving, and the "Saved" pop-up shows again.
Bigger welcome images 2 improved
  • The welcome message is now a normal message with the image attached, so the image shows full size instead of shrunk inside a box.
  • Only the new member gets pinged by the welcome message, even if custom wording includes @everyone.
Faster role restore on rejoin 2 fixed
  • When someone rejoins, all their saved roles are given back at once instead of one by one.
  • The role log shows one "Restored roles" message for a restore instead of a line per role.
Fewer clicks on the dashboard 1 new 2 improved
  • Each server now opens on a Server details page: member and online counts, which features are set up, quick actions, and the latest changes.
  • Each feature tile opens its own page, with "← Server details" at the top to go back.
  • The Get roles, Messages, System messages, and Emojis tiles open their page directly (marked with ↗) instead of a tab with a single button.
Voice disconnects in the voice log 1 new 1 fixed
  • When a moderator disconnects someone from voice, the voice log now says who did it instead of showing a plain leave.
  • The "Disconnected by a moderator" message can be customized like the other voice log messages.
System messages & custom emojis 4 new 1 improved
  • System messages: write a message on the dashboard with a formatting toolbar and live preview, pick a channel, and the bot posts it.
  • Send it as a colored embed with an optional title, or as a plain message. @everyone and role pings only work if you allow them.
  • Use your server's custom emojis in bot messages by writing :emoji_name:, with an emoji picker on the dashboard.
  • An Emojis page to see, add, and delete server emojis. Uploads are resized automatically, and animated GIFs work too.
  • After a system message is sent, you're taken back to the dashboard with a confirmation.
Custom level settings 2 new 2 improved
  • In the Levels tab, choose how many levels your server has and how long level 1 takes.
  • A slider sets how much longer each level takes than the one before, with a live preview of the time each level needs.
  • Changing the settings recalculates everyone's level and Level N role, up or down.
  • /level shows when someone has reached the max level.
A tidier dashboard 4 improved
  • Each server's dashboard is split into square tabs: Welcome, Logs, Birthdays, Get roles, Levels, Member counts, Messages, and Bot & activity.
  • Settings now live with the feature they belong to, like the welcome channel and banner together under Welcome.
  • Customize messages uses the same tabs, one per group of messages.
  • Back links from other pages return you to the tab you came from.
Activity log 3 new
  • Each server has an Activity log (button at the top of its dashboard) showing who changed what and when.
  • It covers changes made on this website and with Discord commands like /config, /setup, and /birthday edit.
  • Filter it by type, like birthdays, channels, or messages. Custom wording shows what it was changed to.
Customize messages 3 new 3 improved
  • A Customize messages page for each server: change the wording of any message the bot posts, with a live preview.
  • Pick the color of the stripe down the side of each message.
  • Welcome, goodbye, birthday shout-out and level-up messages can now be customized too, not just logs.
  • Goodbye messages are now embeds, so they can have a color like everything else.
  • Your birthday is now set right on the Servers page instead of its own tab.
  • The update notice links to this page instead of listing changes, so nothing gets missed if an update is skipped.
Member count fixes 2 fixed
  • The welcome message's "You're member #N" no longer counts bots.
  • Member count channels made by the bot no longer need it to be an Administrator to update.
Activity levels 4 new
  • Level up from time in voice with at least 2 other people. Time spent deafened doesn't count.
  • Get a Level N role for your current level. Admins can pre-make those roles to style them.
  • /level shows your level, rank, and progress. /leaderboard shows the most active people.
  • Optional level-up announcement channel. Turn it all on under Activity levels on the dashboard.
One get-roles channel & a quieter server log 2 improved 1 fixed
  • Get roles now uses one channel for every category. Changing it moves all the role messages there.
  • Pick a category's roles with checkboxes, so adding several at once is easy.
  • Dragging a channel logged every other channel as reordered too. Now it's one log line for the channel you moved.
Get roles, update notices & more servers 4 new 1 improved 1 fixed
  • Get roles: group roles into categories on the dashboard and post a button menu so members can give themselves roles.
  • Categories can be set to one role at a time -- picking another swaps it.
  • Bot update notices: pick a channel to get a heads-up (and this list) right before the bot restarts for an update.
  • This What's new page.
  • The server list now also shows servers you could add the bot to, with a one-click invite.
  • Server owners and Administrators can open the dashboard even without the Manage Server permission itself.
